This week I decided to move away from pie and work on donuts. It was a difficult process trying to figure out how to paint a different texture of breading. I went through several different attempts trying to figure it out. I didn't get images of the process, but next time I will. I kept the embroidery and used it in the sprinkles and small sections of the frosting.
The artist that inspired me was Jeanne Vadeboncoeur. She painted the donuts on the bottom. The second artist which is the first image on the top I was not able to find the name of. I looked at the way the painted the bread and tried to figure something out similar to that.
