This week for BA I decided to work on some video. I sat up a flower still life and then I burned it. I know I keep talking about having a masked figure, but this video might have to be the one I do it for. I'm excited for this piece, I want to take my time on editing it.
The artist that inspired me is Francis Alys and his video Paradox pf Praxis 5.

In the video he's set a ball on fire and is kicking it through town. The video made me want to catch something on fire, but on something where fire doesn't belong, like in Francis' video on a ball being kicked around an urban area. It was really hard getitng live plants to burn but I like the effect and I'm excited to see what I can do with it in premiere.
