This object represents  how my families decisions to sell their property which houses a plant nursery is affecting everything around it. Their property is one of the last land strips in the area, being completely surrounded by developed and developing neighborhoods. By burning the clay, I wanted to show how this last bit of undeveloped land will be burnt down and all the history in it will disappear underneath middle class homes.
