This week I haven't had too much of a chance to make it over to Wags and Whiskers. I've been working over night shifts this week, I didn't get home until 7 AM this morning and then I had to go right to class. But Since I was not able to make it over there yet, I've been making it a point to work on some more adoption portraits. So far I was only able to get two done, But I'm fixing to begin on a third. I have one painting of a little tabby I set aside because I was having a hard time painting his cute little face. But hopefully I can get that corrected tonight.
I've been emailing Heather Snyder from class back and forth a little this week about the online portion about our small collaboration. Hopefully soon we will have it set up online where people can send in pictures of their pets for me to paint for a donation. We talked about setting a 25 dollar donation minimum, and we are implementing a deadline for when photos can be sent in. I thought this was a great idea, I've been feeling a little over whelmed the last couple of weeks with everything that I have going on. But I think while I am doing the donations portraits, I'm going to stop painting the adoption portraits. I think between those two things, work, school, and painting interior and a future mural, it might be a little bit too much.
